Disney Pixar Cars Shu Todoroki

Well, I took the leap and purchased something from the Disney Pixar Cars line – Shu Todoroki. I have mainly been staying away from these because I don’t want to end up with 1000s of them like I have with Hot Wheels. I must admit, I have no self control when it comes to this stuff. LOL

I picked up the Disney Pixar Cars Shu Todoroki simply because I liked the looks of it. The styling is what mainly inspired the purchase. I’ve yet to see Cars 2 but I think it is safe to assume that Shu Todoroki is made to look like a Le Mans style race car. I think I am ‘into’ this type of car now since I saw a 1:1 Ferrari 333 SP at Road America back in August of 2013. Here’s a link to a write up I did on the Hot Wheels version of the 333 SP.

As with the majority of my recent purchases, Shu Todoroki was released from the package and now lives happily under a table in my photo studio. I’m going to have to buy him some friends. LOL

Are there Matchbox “Hunts” or is this Matchbox Hunt “car with logo on vehicle” the biggest 1:64 scale Hoax/myth of all time? I am seeing Matchbox being released that are blowing my mind! They’re really evolving and taking over when it comes to diecast that actually look and are detailed to the real thing, unlike HW with some pretty ugly and irrelevant designs over the last 14 years. I’m finding one every now and again that will have the Matchbox logo on the door and just seems there is no reason it should or its placed with a real ambiguous intention, line the military line,a camoed out tank or HumV with a yellow logo on the door, roof or side, which are very short packed too. Thanks!
