Well, here’s the Hot Wheels Ford Shelby GT350R… I guess my son (the Mustang collector) missed the initial blue release of this casting earlier this year so this is the first one in the house. I saw it on his shelf earlier this evening and felt it needed some time in the studio. I tried to shoot these pics in a different light than I normally do. Which type of picture style do you like best?
I should note that I am not a Mustang fan for the most part. GASP! Sorry if anyone reading this was pained in reading that statement. I do however like the direction that Ford is going.
So far out of the more recent Mustang releases, this one ranks near the top of my ‘like’ list. It doesn’t look ‘cartoony’. It doesn’t have funny colored windows or gaudy ‘chrome’. Just a well done ~1:64 scale representation of the real deal.
