Hot Wheels Ferrari Dino 246 GTS Hart To Hart

Recently I have been building my collection of Hot Wheels Ferrari’s. I bought a few Hot Wheels from Diecast Demon on scOOmer a few weeks back. Along with my purchase, he generously included the new Hot Wheels Ferrari Dino 246 GTS Hart To Hart car. Besides the generosity and the fact it’s a Ferrari, I was happy to receive this because it seems like stores in this area do not keep up to date on collector lines such as the Retro Entertainment series. There were quite a few cars in this series that I would have liked to pick up but they simply weren’t there.

The Hot Wheels Ferrari Dino has seen a limited number of releases since it’s release in 2008. Counting the Retro Entertainment Hart to Hart release shown in the pictures below I believe that the Hot Wheels Ferrari Dino casting has made a total of 4 appearances. 2008, 2009, 2011, and now 2014. None of these releases were in the Hot Wheels mainline.

The Hot Wheels Ferrari Dino 246 GTS Hart To Hart features a metal body and base as well as Real Rider rubber tires. The body is painted red and features silver details with the typical Ferrari logo on the hood. The base is painted flat black. I feel that a little more detail could have been added – the vents on the hood and sides could have been painted black. It’s something simple that would add a little more to an already awesome release. Well, I will stop here – I’m going to find my black paint…
