Hot Wheels Honda Civic EF – 2014 HW City
Well, something happened tonight that as a collector has never happened before. My kids and I were able to pick through an untouched dump bin. I don’t know exactly how many cars were there but I’d estimate easily more than 300. Regardless, this post is about the brand new Hot Wheels Honda Civic EF casting.
I guess in the beginning I didn’t understand all of the hype behind the Hot Wheels Honda Civic EF. Now that I have one in my possession, I guess I get it now. I don’t know much about the ‘tuner scene’, but to me this car looks very close to scale. There are no gaudy tampos. The interior is not chrome. The windows are not wildly colored. Hot Wheels, you did a great job on the Honda Civic EF. It looks just like it should. I hope to see some recolors this year. White in my opinion would look great. It would be easy to RIT DYE too. LOL Good thing I grabbed an extra one of these. I see a custom in the near future.
