Hot Wheels Plymouth Barracuda Funny Car
This casting may be a little misleading to some. In 1970, ‘The Snake‘ was released as part of the mainline for that year. This was the initial release of this casting. The casting saw production into 1983 and after 1974 was referred to as ‘Top Eliminator‘.
In 1994, a redesigned casting by Hot Wheels legend Larry Wood named ‘Plymouth Barracuda Funny Car‘ was released. The images shown below are of the 2005 release of this tool. I am not too fond of the Y5 wheels used on this release. Another version (which looked better in my opinion) was available in 2005 which had a more standard wheel – PR5s.
In 1997, a third casting was released. This casting saw a few production releases. The most recent being 2009 as part of the Dragstrip Demons series.
