What are my Hot Wheels worth? One topic I try not to discuss much. My philosophy is that the hobby isn’t just about value. There are so many more facets to it. I get many emails per month asking about the value of certain castings. I don’t have the time to research and respond to every email that I receive so I’m going to do something a little different.
I am going to post the pricing research I have done to date on certain popular castings. Pricing data has only been extracted from listings that appear to be mint to near mint condition. The listings must be carded. The casting is to be as free from errors as possible. Sometimes in this hobby, errors pull quite a few dollars. I don’t want those instances to skew the data I am trying to share.
Sellers, hopefully you will find this to be an aide in what you might be able to sell yours for. In the end, it’s really only worth what someone pays for it.
Buyers, the goal of this guide is to help you NOT overpay.
